Terms of Service

The marketplace rules, role responsibilities, commercial-term boundaries, and current platform-fee model for Curbora.

Last updated: August 21, 2026

Draft for legal review. This public working draft reflects Curbora’s current product model and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before it is treated as final legal terms or policy.

1. Scope and review status

These Terms of Service govern use of the Curbora food-truck marketplace and related services. They are a working draft intended for legal review before reliance. By using Curbora, you agree to use it lawfully and provide accurate information for your role.

2. Marketplace role

Curbora provides tools for discovery, event planning, invitations, applications, booking coordination, messaging, and marketplace records. Curbora is not the food-truck operator, event organizer, caterer, insurer, tax advisor, or venue. Each organizer and truck owner remains responsible for its own business decisions, permits, food safety, insurance, staffing, taxes, agreements, and performance.

3. Accounts and public profiles

Users must protect account access and keep information reasonably current. Truck owners control whether their profile is public. Public sharing can include owner-selected business information, menus, service areas, photos, and starting prices; the owner may pause sharing. Users may not publish unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe, or privacy-violating content.

4. Booking and commercial terms

Organizers choose event details and commercial terms before relevant invitations, applications, or bookings are confirmed. Both participants should review the event, payment approach, cancellation terms, venue requirements, and practical details before confirmation. Curbora records the workflow but does not guarantee that a truck is available, that a quote is final, or that either participant will perform a separate commercial agreement.

5. Curbora fees and payments

Curbora’s current organizer platform fee is separate from the organizer-to-truck commercial amount. Current pricing states a 5% organizer platform fee on the agreed booking value, subject to a $62.50 minimum. Food-truck owners do not pay a Curbora subscription, listing fee, or Curbora booking commission under the current model. If a platform-fee payment is available, the organizer uses Stripe-hosted Checkout; the organizer-to-truck payment remains separate.

6. Messages, reviews, and disputes

Use booking-scoped messages and review tools responsibly. Reviews must relate to an actual completed booking. Curbora offers an evidence-backed dispute workflow but does not promise a particular review or dispute outcome. Do not use Curbora to harass, threaten, impersonate, collect private information without permission, or circumvent another user’s role-based access.

7. Prohibited use and enforcement

Users may not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private information, upload malicious content, misrepresent credentials, evade payment obligations, or use the service in violation of law. Curbora may restrict content or access to protect users, the service, or legal compliance, subject to applicable law.

8. Disclaimers, limits, and changes

The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Curbora does not promise uninterrupted service, event success, food quality, payment collection between organizers and truck owners, or compliance by marketplace participants. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law. Curbora may update the service or terms; material updates will be posted with a revised effective date.

9. Contact

For account, booking, policy, or terms questions, use the Curbora support page. Legal notices and jurisdiction-specific provisions should be completed during counsel review before these terms are relied on as final.
