1. Scope and review status
This Privacy Policy describes how Curbora handles information through its food-truck marketplace and related public pages. It is a working draft intended for legal review before reliance. It applies to information Curbora processes when people browse, create an account, publish a truck profile, plan an event, coordinate a booking, or contact support.
2. Information Curbora processes
Curbora processes account information such as a name, email address, sign-in method, and role; marketplace profile information such as business descriptions, service areas, menus, photos, and owner-entered prices; event, invitation, application, booking, and message information; support requests; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Public truck profiles are off by default and become public only when a truck owner enables sharing.
3. How information is used
Curbora uses information to authenticate accounts, operate marketplace matching and booking workflows, maintain shared booking records, deliver account and opted-in saved-truck update notifications, provide support, prevent misuse, improve the product, and comply with applicable obligations. A saved-truck alert preference and a private organizer note are visible only to that organizer; truck owners do not receive organizer identities, alert settings, or note contents.
4. When information is shared
Curbora shares relevant event and booking details with the organizer and truck owner participating in that workflow. Public truck sharing may show owner-selected business details, public menu items, service reach, selected photos, and owner-entered starting prices. Curbora may also use service providers that support hosting, authentication, storage, payment processing, and communications. Curbora does not publish private messages, private documents, payment card numbers, disputes, or private account information on public profiles.
5. Payments and commercial terms
Organizers and truck owners may agree separate commercial terms for an event, including vendor-fee, attendee-pay, catering, or guaranteed-minimum arrangements. Curbora records those terms for coordination but does not transfer or hold the organizer-to-truck payment. Where Curbora offers a separate organizer platform-fee payment, checkout is handled through Stripe-hosted Checkout; Curbora does not store card numbers.
6. Choices and controls
Truck owners can edit their profile, pause public sharing, remove public photos, and manage optional marketplace cover order. Organizers can remove a saved truck, edit their private note, and turn saved-truck menu and public-pricing alerts on or off. Users may use the account area or support path to request assistance with account information, subject to applicable law and Curbora’s security checks.
7. Security and retention
Curbora uses access controls and service-provider safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Curbora retains information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, maintain booking records, meet legal obligations, and enforce terms, then deletes or de-identifies it where appropriate.
8. Policy updates and contact
Curbora may update this policy as practices or the service change. The current version will show its effective date. For privacy questions or requests, use the Curbora support page so the request can be routed to the appropriate team.
